Challenge

DSS isn't one device, it's a whole system: a totem, key lockers, a parts dispenser and the software that connects them.

More

The website had to show how those pieces work together on a dealership floor, fit Caredo's existing visual identity and take a dealer straight to a conversation with sales.

Solution

We designed and built the site on Caredo's identity: a story from "what is DSS" to contact, an animated diagram of the system on a dealership floor, an IPS section with video and four devices that turn and open as the page scrolls.

More

Contact is a call-back form with a choice of topic.

Key features

  1. Design and build in Caredo's visual identity
  2. Devices as frame sequences played by scrolling (canvas, GSAP)
  3. An animated diagram of the DSS system on a dealership floor
  4. Video in AV1, WebM and MP4, at 480p, 720p and 1080p
  5. Call-back forms with a choice of topic
  6. Structured data and social link previews

Starting point

Caredo had a finished visual identity and a product that's hard to show in one photo: DSS is several devices plus the software that makes them work as one system. The website had to explain that to a dealer in a few scrolls.

What we did

The whole site — design and build — on Caredo's identity. The story runs from what DSS is, through why a dealership needs it, to a diagram showing where each device stands on the floor and what it connects to.

The devices aren't photos: each is a frame sequence drawn on a canvas and moved by scrolling, so the key locker opens and turns as the visitor scrolls down — 958 frames across four devices.

The IPS section's video is served in three formats and three resolutions, so a phone on a weak connection doesn't download the same file as a 4K monitor. Every path through the page ends in the same place: a call-back form where the dealer ticks what they want to talk about.

The DSS product itself — the CRM, the planner, the device integrations — is a separate case study, one we build together with the Caredo team.
